Eligibility criteria

DAPA will cater for pupils who, because of exclusion or other reasons would not otherwise receive a suitable full time education. This will include:

  • with very poor attendance in a mainstream setting
  • who have emotional / anxiety / peer group issues
  • with behaviours for learning that inhibit progress for themselves and others
  • with physical health diagnoses, that affect access to a full curriculum
  • who are suffering from mental health problems
  • who are at serious and imminent risk of permanent exclusion
